Hi, I'm Bo Zhou! Welcome to my personal website!
I joined the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor
as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in September 2022, working with Prof. Siqian Shen
and Prof. Ruiwei Jiang.
I completed my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Huazhong University and Science and Technology in June 2022,
where I was supervised by Prof. Jinyu Wen at the Smart Grid Operation & Control (SGO) Lab.
My research interests focus on the mathematical optimization and learning techniques for flexibility and resilience of power/energy systems under uncertainty,
which is critical in promoting the sustainable and low-carbon transition of the energy sector.
Toward this target, I think theory and applications of energy storage will be the most critical enabling technologies.
